 James
Meyer, Treasurer – Executive Director, Oakley School James has served
on the NATSAP Board since 2003, was Chair of the 2005 Conference
and is the Ethics Committee Chair. He received
his B.A. in History from the Unversity of Colorado in Boulder
and his M.A. in Education from Fairfield University in Fairfield
Connecticut. He taught history of 10 years in private schools
before becoming the Academic Director at Oakley School in the
Fall of 1998 when the school was founded. In 2000 James was
promoted to Head of School and, in July 2005, was named
Executive Director. James has coached lacrosse for 18 years. He
has coached state championship teams in Colorado, and was named
coach of the year for the state of Utah in 2003. James taught
briefly at the college level. He telemark skis, fly fishes and
mountain bikes.
