 Dr. Karen Fitzhugh - Head of School, King George School
in Sutton, Vermont. Prior to her move to Vermont in May of 2004,
Dr. Fitzhugh was the Executive Director of Girls’ Haven, a home
for abused, abandoned and neglected girls, as well as the
founder and Superintendent of The Ehrhart School for Arts and
Athletics in Beaumont, Texas. Karen most recently presented at
the North Eastern Regional NATSAP conference on the survival of
the King George School through Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Dr.
Fitzhugh holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Special
Education from the University of California.
