Copper Hills Youth Center meets the specific needs of residents with Aspergers Syndrome including providing the residents with the life skills, relationship skills, and communication skills necessary to become productive members of their community. The residents’ needs will be met in a setting that is developed for, and addresses the special needs of, individuals with Aspergers Syndrome.

Copper Hills Youth Center accepts students between the ages of 12 and 17, who are diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, high functioning Autism or other Autism Spectrum Disorders who could benefit from the structure environment and specific skills training of our program.

Copper Hills Youth Center provides individual treatment plans that are reviewed every 28 days. Individual and family therapy is held weekly and group therapy is held twice weekly. Five hours of on-site schooling is available and is accredited through the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. Other services include:


  • Daily recreational therapy
  • Dietary services under direction of a licensed dietician
  • Daily psycho-educational and skill development groups
  • Nurses on site 24 hours a day
  • Medication management – weekly 1/2 hour consultations with licensed psychiatrists
