Bromley Brook girls know they are capable of more, but lack a coherent set of developmental tools to achieve their aspirations. They may be depressed, withdrawn, anxious or lack sufficient impulse control. They might have recently shifted to risky peer groups. Are academically capable but have ceased to care. Extremely disconnected from previously warm family relationships, overly dependent on electronic devices, doesn't accept responsibility, and are unable to imagine future. Our girls are in need of a structured environment where they will receive expert guidance and counseling support while pursuing their high school diploma and developing healthy peer and family relationships. Bromley Brook is rare and unexpectied. You can feel the pull of an incredibly warm and nuturing staff whose long standing close knit team helps disconnected girls--reconnect to the world. our highly intelligent, engaged faculty helps girls rediscover the joy of learning, and imagine a new and effective academic future. Our modern facility designed by a renowned architect is ideally suited to this purpose, from our science and computer labs to our art studio and ball fields, our students have an opportunity to explore and expand on their various talents in a nurturing and well-conceived environment. Additionally our milieu curriculum allows young women to explore a more expansive view of the role of women in the modern world. Bromley Brook boarding school for girls gives young women an opportunity to develop the independence and autonomy needed for post-secondary success. We recognize girls’ needs and strengths and assist them in converting their repertoire of skills into achieving more than they think possible. Exposure to a challenging college preparatory curriculum and collaboration among faculty, family and referring professionals facilitates competence in education, increased self-knowledge, and improved family relationships. This individual approach to education and personal growth can create unprecedented levels of success among girls who have previously experienced school failure, social isolation, or strained family relationships. |
