Clearview Horizon is a rustic finishing school designed to encourage girls in academic fitness, emotional fitness, and physical fitness. Nestled in a peaceful clearing in the woods inside an elegantly and warmly decorated log lodge, girls are taught how to become well balanced human beings. Clearview is a Christian based program where the girls go to a community church, youth group, AA/NA and 12-Step programs.

Typically, the Clearview Horizon student is a teen who is struggling with her self-esteem, motivation, purpose, the influence of a negative peer environment, an eating disorder, sexual abuse, attachment disorder, attention deficit disorder, illegal drugs, or some other destructive behavior pattern. Consequently, the program is highly structured and responsibilities are taken very seriously. The student learns to complete tasks and the importance of the work ethic. The girls experience individual therapy, AA/NA, 12-Step, group therapy, family therapy, and therapeutic seminars which give them behavioral training tools that benefit them for the rest of their lives. Students attend an accredited high school on our campus. During the second phase of our program students may attend a public high school to test themselves. College courses are also offered on our campus. Recreational opportunities include snow boarding, skiing, hiking, boating, swimming, and horseback riding.

Each of our students is asked to evaluate her present life choices and then to explore ways she can improve herself. It is through this process that the student focuses on how to set goals and how to take steps necessary to achieve those goals. This is a small program and the staff is able to mentor your child's progress daily. The individual attention our girls receive enables them to be successful. The Clearview staff is very proud of the success of our students. It is our hope that we can help your family as well.
