La Amistad provides the kind of healthcare that patients recommend to families and friends, physicians prefer for their patients, and in which our employees take great pride. We realize this vision through our commitment to the following principles: service excellence, continuous improvement in measurable ways, employee development, ethical and fair treatment for all, and compassion and innovation in service delivery.

La Amistad Behavioral Health Services offers a program for children and adolescents ages 5-17 that focuses on helping individuals identify both the emotions and actions that have created problems. We also offer a newly expanded program for young adults ages 18 and up that addresses the psychological, social, and academic needs of individuals with more chronic behavior issues. Candidate difficulties may include emotional and behavioral disorders, sexual trauma and abuse, chemical dependency, schizophrenia, Asperger's, personality disorders, and ADHD.

In our safe, campus-like environment, patients receive the benefits of our licensed clinical team of professionals and the extensive treatment components they oversee: family, group, activities, and pharmacological therapy; educational services with computer lab; individual psychotherapy; personal care class; and dietary consultation. We also offer specialty therapy for 12-step chemical dependency groups, survivors group psychotherapy for female victims of sexual or physical abuse, community group for peer issues, and adolescent psychotherapy groups for developmental concerns.
